PhD · Part B: Am I eligible?
Can I apply before I finish my master's?
Short answer: Usually yes, if you will graduate by the date set in the call.
- Trento's 2026 International Studies call admitted candidates who would graduate by 28 August 2026, with the certificate due by 11 September 2026 (University of Trento).
- Perugia's call asked for the degree by 31 October 2026 (University of Perugia call).
- For the visa you need the final certificate or an official provisional certificate from your university; a self declaration is not accepted (MUR circular). Bangladeshi public universities can be slow, so ask your registrar early.
This page explains official rules in plain language. I am not an immigration adviser and I do not give visa advice. For that, always use official government sources. Rules change: confirm with your university, the embassy and VFS before you act.
