Bachelor's · Part B: Am I eligible?
Can I apply before my HSC results come out?
Short answer: Yes. The university can accept you "with reserve" while you wait for your result (MUR circular).
- Apply with your SSC certificate and your HSC registration or test results.
- For the visa you need either the final certificate or an official provisional certificate from your education board. A self declaration is not accepted.
- Plan for the gap between HSC results and the visa deadline. For 2027/28, the visa deadline is 31 October 2027.
This page explains official rules in plain language. I am not an immigration adviser and I do not give visa advice. For that, always use official government sources. Rules change: confirm with your university, the embassy and VFS before you act.
