I am under 18. What extra rules apply?
Short answer: Many HSC students are still 17. The Dhaka checklist asks minors for extra documents, all apostilled by MOFA (Dhaka checklist).
- Visa form signed by both parents or the legal guardian
- Consent of both parents, or of the custodian, if both parents are not travelling with you
- Copies of the parents' or guardian's passports
- Financial proof of the parents or guardian
- Your original birth certificate
- Proof of adequate protection for you in Italy until you turn 18
- If you have a legal guardian, court documents from Bangladesh proving it
Ask your university how it supports students under 18, for example with housing and a contact person. Plan this early; court papers take time.
