Where do I find PhD calls?

Short answer: On each university's "Dottorato di ricerca" or "PhD admissions" page, on EURAXESS, and through the departments and research groups you want to join.

• Make a list of 10 to 15 programs where at least one research group matches your topic.
• Read past calls from the previous year to learn the format, the documents and the number of funded places.
• The Italian version of the call is the legally binding one; English versions are translations.
• Watch for calls with a fixed topic ("borsa a tema"). They suit you if your master's thesis is close to that project.
