What can I do after my master's?
- Look for a job. Graduates can ask for a permit of up to 12 months to look for work or start a business. Bocconi advises starting two months before your study permit expires (Bocconi).
- Switch to a work permit. With a job offer, a study permit can be converted into a work permit at any time, without waiting for the yearly quota (YesMilano).
- Do a PhD. A study permit can be renewed for a PhD course (MUR circular). Start reading PhD calls in your second year. See the PhD guide.
