Master's · Part G: Before you fly
What should I pack, and what is my first week plan?
- Passport with visa, Universitaly summary, admission letter
- Apostilled degree certificate, transcript and syllabus
- CIMEA statements or Declaration of Value
- Bank and sponsor documents used for the visa
- Scholarship letters, insurance, accommodation booking
- Extra passport photos and prescriptions
First week: SIM and room on days 1 to 2; the university's international desk on days 2 to 4 (many have a permit desk, per the MUR circular); the residence permit kit by working day 8 (M39); then enrolment, health cover, a long term room and a bank account.
This page explains official rules in plain language. I am not an immigration adviser and I do not give visa advice. For that, always use official government sources. Rules change: confirm with your university, the embassy and VFS before you act.
