How many universities should I apply to?

Short answer: Apply to 4 to 8 courses. But for the visa you pre enrol on Universitaly for only one course, at one university.

• With most foreign qualifications you choose only one course in the pre enrolment (MUR circular).
• You cannot enrol at a different university or course from the one you pre enrolled for (University of Pisa).
• A sensible mix: two ambitious choices, three or four good matches, one or two safe ones. Decide quickly when offers arrive, because the places cap fills up.
