Master's · Part C: Choose and apply

How do I find master's programs taught in English?

Short answer: Search on Universitaly, the free official portal, then read each university's page for non EU applicants and the course's call for applications (bando).

  1. On Universitaly, filter by Laurea Magistrale and by language.
  2. Shortlist 8 to 10 courses that match your bachelor's subjects (M5).
  3. For each, note: subject requirements, English score, deadline, non EU places, fees, scholarships.
  4. Read the bando. If a blog and the bando disagree, the bando wins.
  5. Note the application platform. Some universities use their own portal, others DreamApply (University of Bari).

Choosing the city: compare rent (rent table), housing, the DSU region, and jobs. Northern cities such as Milan, Turin, Bologna and the Veneto area have more industry.

This page explains official rules in plain language. I am not an immigration adviser and I do not give visa advice. For that, always use official government sources. Rules change: confirm with your university, the embassy and VFS before you act.
