Bachelor's · Part C: Choose and apply
What is the application process, step by step?
- Read the bando of each shortlisted course.
- Prepare documents: passport, SSC and HSC certificates and marksheets (or A level results), CV, motivation letter, English certificate, portfolio for design or architecture.
- Apply on each university's portal and pay the fee if there is one. Some are free.
- Sit the test or interview if the course has one.
- Get the decision: admitted, admitted with conditions, or rejected.
- Pre enrol on Universitaly for the one course you will attend (B22).
- Start CIMEA or the Declaration of Value for your HSC (B13).
- Apply for the DSU scholarship in summer (B19).
- Apply for the visa once your pre enrolment is validated (B27).
Remember: admission does not give you a right to a visa, and a visa does not give you a right to enrol. The university and the embassy each decide on their own (MUR circular).
This page explains official rules in plain language. I am not an immigration adviser and I do not give visa advice. For that, always use official government sources. Rules change: confirm with your university, the embassy and VFS before you act.
