What I collect
If you contact me. Your name, email address, and whatever you choose to write. I use it to reply to you and to carry out work you ask me to do.
If you subscribe to the newsletter. Your email address, and whether you opened the email. Nothing else.
If you book a call. Your name, email and the time you chose, handled by the booking service.
If you send me documents. Your application materials, CV or drafts. I use these solely to give you feedback.
When you visit. Aggregate statistics on pages viewed, collected without cookies and without tracking you across sites. I can't identify you from this.
What I don't do
I don't sell your information. I don't share it with anyone except the services listed below that make this site work. I don't show advertising. I don't use tracking cookies.
Services I use
Cloudflare for hosting and anonymous analytics. Google Fonts for typefaces, which means your browser requests them from Google. Google for email. YouTube for embedded videos, in its no-cookie mode, which sets nothing until you press play.
MailerLite runs the mailing list. If you subscribe, your email address is stored with them and nowhere else, and every email carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately. Tally runs the contact form, and anything you type into it is stored with them and sent on to me. Tally is a Belgian company and keeps its data in the European Union. There is no booking tool: to arrange a call, you email me or use the form.
Each holds data on its own servers under its own privacy policy.
Your documents
Application materials you send me are confidential. I don't share them, publish them, or use them as examples, not even anonymised.
I keep them while we're working together and for twelve months afterwards in case you come back, then delete them. Ask me to delete them sooner and I will.
I don't put your documents into AI tools.
How long I keep things
Enquiries: two years. Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe. Client documents: twelve months after the work ends. Invoices and records: as long as tax rules require.
Your rights
You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or ask for a copy. Email makshud.fpc.btp@gmail.com and I'll respond within a month.
If you're in the EU or UK and you're not satisfied, you can complain to your national data protection authority.
Children
This site isn't intended for people under 16. If you're under 16, please have a parent or guardian contact me instead.
Changes
If I change this notice I'll update the date at the top.
