The free IELTS course
195 lessons across Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. Written for students in Bangladesh and South Asia who are aiming for band 6 to 8.5. Free, and always will be.
The four modules
Listening
Hearing the answer the first time, and not losing marks on spelling and form.
Reading
Finding answers faster, and the question types that quietly cost people bands.
Writing
Task 1 and Task 2, what the examiner is actually marking, and how to plan under time.
Speaking
Talking for longer, sounding natural, and what to do when your mind goes blank.
How the course works
Each module has the same five units, so you always know where you are:
- Know the test. What actually happens, and what is being marked.
- Common mistakes. The habits that quietly cost people half a band.
- Core strategies. What to do differently, question type by question type.
- Band 7 to 8.5. The finer work, once the basics are solid.
- Practice and exam day. Putting it together under time.
Every lesson is short, has a practice task with answers you can check, and ends with one thing to do today.
Test fees, formats and rules change. Where a lesson mentions one, check the current position at ielts.org, IDP or the British Council before you rely on it.
