Studying in the UK and Europe
“Europe” isn't one system. That's the first thing most applicants get wrong.
Where I can actually help
I did my MSc at Alliance Manchester Business School, and I've been through the PhD application and funding process in Italy. So the UK and Italy I know firsthand. For Germany, the Netherlands, the Nordics, France and Erasmus Mundus, I know the application logic and the published requirements, and I'll tell you plainly where my knowledge ends.
Since I've applied across several systems myself, I know where they differ and why applications fail.
Studying in Italy, free guide
A question and answer guide for students in Bangladesh, covering bachelor's, master's and PhD, from choosing a course to your residence permit card.
Every answer is short, and nearly every one links to the official rule it comes from. Work through it before you pay anyone, including me.
What we work on
Programme selection
Matching your profile, funding needs and career plan against real programmes, not rankings.
Personal statements
For UK taught programmes, where the statement carries most of the weight.
Academic CVs
Restructured so a reader finds the evidence they need in ten seconds.
Degree recognition
Apostille, CIMEA and ENIC-NARIC, Diploma Supplements, and the country-specific verification steps that catch people out.
Timelines
Working backwards from deadlines so nothing gets done in a panic.
Planning for self-funded study
Not everyone gets a scholarship, and self-funded study is a legitimate route that almost nobody plans for properly. We work out the real total cost of a year abroad: tuition, living costs, insurance, travel, and the first two months before anything settles. Then we build a savings and timeline plan against it.
We also look at what part-time work each country actually permits, what partial funding exists alongside self-funding, and what universities require you to demonstrate.
One line I won't cross: I help you plan for funds you will genuinely have. I don't advise on how to present money you don't have, and I won't help with sponsor arrangements, statements or documentation designed to look like something they aren't. That route ends badly for your application, for your record, and for every honest applicant from Bangladesh who applies after you.
An honest note on agents
I'm not an agent. I don't take commission from universities, which means I have no reason to steer you toward one institution over another. I'm an advisor: my job is to put as many feasible options in front of you as I can. The decision is yours to make.
On visas
I'm strict about this. I don't give visa or immigration advice, and you should be careful about anyone who does without being authorised to.
I can share general, published information about processes I've been through personally, clearly labelled as such. For your application, use the official government sources, and if anything I say contradicts them, follow the official source, always.
Not sure where to start?
Take the free 15-minute call. Tell me your subject, your budget and your timeline, and I'll tell you which routes are realistic. Ask about fees while we're talking and I'll quote you for what you actually need, rather than a package you don't.
